Is the Seiko Cleancut Expensive?

We get a lot of e-mails asking why the Seiko Cleancut intimate area shaver is so expensive. Well, the answer simply is that it's actually quite cheap!

Consider the following points before deciding that it costs too much:

1) The Cleancut is made in Japan, not China or some other far east country. The quality of manufactured goods in Japan is second to none. Do not underestimate the quality of this shaver.

We could have easily sold identical looking shavers made in China for half the price, but they don't last very long and the results are short lived. We pride ourselves on selling quality goods and won't knowingly sell sub-standard products.

2) A bikini hair removal session at a salon will cost you around $15 and doesn't include the cost of travelling to the salon or the inconvenience. Also, remember that the Cleancut shaver can be used on very short stubble length hair. A touch up session once a week will keep you completely hair free. Salon treatments require the hair to be much longer before it can be removed.

The Cleancut shaver can be used repeatedly for many years with regular maintenance (cleaning and oiling blades after use). We also sell replacement parts for the shaver - which many other retailers don't!

3) Quality shavers from reputable manufacterers cost up to and over $100+ these days. In comparison, $45 for a Seiko shaver is not very much at all.
